Invitrogen™ Human TOX3 (aa 97-170) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (93%), Rat (93%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-59151 (PA5-59151. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
TOX3 contains an HMG-box, indicating that it may be involved in bending and unwinding of DNA and alteration of chromatin structure. The C-terminus of the encoded protein is glutamine-rich due to CAG repeats in the coding sequence. A minor allele of this gene has been implicated in an elevated risk of breast cancer.
