Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (94%), Rat (94%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-58103 (PA5-58103. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

TMEM9B, also termed as Transmembrane protein 9B encodes a 198 amino-acid protein that contains an N-terminal signal peptide, a single transmembrane region, three potential N-glycosylation sites, and three conserved cys-rich domains in the N-terminus. There is a dimer form of TMEM9B protein. TMEM9B mRNA is expressed in a wide range of tissues and cells. TMEM9B is a lysosomal transmembrane protein that regulates the activity of inflammatory signaling pathways.
