Invitrogen™ Human TEX15 (aa 1473-1591) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (43%), Rat (43%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-57824 (PA5-57824. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Required during spermatogenesis for normal chromosome synapsis and meiotic recombination in germ cells. Necessary for formation of DMC1 and RAD51 foci on meiotic chromosomes, suggesting a specific role in DNA double-stranded break repair.
