Oligodendrocyte myelin glycoprotein (OMG or OMGP) is a cell adhesion molecule contributing to the interactive process required for myelination in the central nervous system. It is also involved in axonogenesis, neuron projection regeneration, and regulation of collateral sprouting of intact axons in response to injury.
