Invitrogen™ Human LRRC26 (aa 44-85) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Recombinant Protein
Supplier: Invitrogen™ RP100074
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (67%), Rat (67%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-63285 (PA5-63285. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
The LRRC26 protein was initially identified as a cytokeratin-associated protein whose expression was elevated in multiple cancer cell lines and cancer specimens as well in normal prostate and salivary gland tissues. LRRC26 was later found to negatively regulate the NF-kappaB activation and suppresses tumor growth and metastasis. LRRC26 can also act to selectively alter the efficacy of large conductance calcium-activated K (BK) channels.Specifications
