Invitrogen™ Human KCNK1 (aa 281-335) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (73%), Rat (73%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-53413 (PA5-53413. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
This gene encodes one of the members of the superfamily of potassium channel proteins containing two pore-forming P domains. The product of this gene has not been shown to be a functional channel, however, it may require other non-pore-forming proteins for activity. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].
