Description

Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (68%), Rat (68%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-55529. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

GTPase that associates with pre-60S ribosomal subunits in the nucleolus and is required for their nuclear export and maturation. May promote cell proliferation possibly by increasing p53/TP53 protein levels, and consequently those of its downstream product CDKN1A/p21, and decreasing RPL23A protein levels (PubMed:26203195).
