Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (89%), Rat (89%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-60445. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

Glutamyl-tRNA synthetase (GluRS or EARS2) a class I aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase (aaRS), is primarily responsible for the glutamylation of tRNAGlu. It is part of the 'minimal set' of seventeen aaRSs found in every living organism and its presence is essential for the viability of cells.
