Invitrogen™ Human DNA Ligase I (aa 818-918) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (86%), Rat (86%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
The protein encoded by this gene is involved in the synthesis of asparagine. This gene complements a mutation in the temperature-sensitive hamster mutant ts11, which blocks progression through the G1 phase of the cell cycle at nonpermissive temperature. There are three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein described for this gene.
