Description

ELISA

900-K317K consists of: 900-K317 (capture antibody, detection antibody, and protein standard), and AVIDIN-60UL (avidin HRP-conjugate). Human CTGF ABTS ELISA Development Kit contains the key components required for the quantitative measurement of natural and/or recombinant human CTGF in a sandwich ELISA format. Human CTGF ABTS ELISA Development Kit contains enough material to assay the target cytokine in at least 1,000 ELISA plate wells. The ABTS ELISA Buffer Kit (Product # 900-K00), sold separately, is recommended to be used in conjunction with this ABTS ELISA Development Kit for optimal performance. This buffer kit contains all the necessary components to assay ten 96-well ELISA plates (included) and contains detailed handling instructions.

Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CTGF), also called CCN2, is a member of the CCN family. CTGF is a secreted protein produced by umbilical veins and vascular endothelial cells. CTGF possesses an Insulin-like Growth Factor (IGF)-binding domain, a thrombospondin type 1 domain, and a cysteine knot region. CTGF plays important roles in the proliferation and differentiation of chondrocytes, induces angiogenesis, and promotes cell adhesion in fibroblasts, endothelial, and epithelial cells.
