Invitrogen™ Human Complement C4a (aa 247-332) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (70%), Rat (70%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-111272. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Complement C4a is a protein that is part of the complement system, which is a group of proteins that work together to help the immune system fight off infections. C4a is produced when the complement system is activated, and it plays a role in inflammation and the recruitment of immune cells to the site of infection. It is also involved in the clearance of immune complexes and the regulation of the complement system.
