  • Assay Kit provides reagents for the quantitative, enzymatic determination of glucose in food and other materials.
  • The assay is colorimetric, with detection measured at 540 nm.
  • Detection Method: Colorimetric
  • Assay Principle: Glucose is oxidized to gluconic acid and hydrogen peroxide by glucose oxidase.
  • Hydrogen peroxide reacts with o-dianisidine in the presence of peroxidase to produce a colored product, which is stabilized by sulfuric acid.
  • The resulting pink color intensity is proportional to the glucose concentration.
  • Capacity: Sufficient for 20 assays
  • Storage Temperature: 2 °C to 8 °C
