Biotinylate glycoproteins (aldehydes of oxidized sugars) with this simplest and shortest (15.7A) hydrazide-activated biotinylation reagent.

Thermo Scientific™ EZ-Link Hydrazide-Biotin is the shortest and simplest hydrazide-activated biotinylation reagent for labeling glycoproteins and other carbohydrate-containing compounds having oxidizable sugars or aldehydes.

Highlights:

  • Carbohydrate-reactive
  • Shorter spacer arm than Biotin-LC-Hydrazide
  • Must be dissolved in DMSO (50mM) before adding to aqueous buffer
  • Use at pH 4-6 to complete coupling reaction
  • Forms hydrazone bond
