Description

The DURAN™ YOUTILITY™ Laboratory Bottle, Amber, GL 45, USP 660 and USP 671 Compliant, Graduated offers ergonomic gripping zones, a slimmer profile for space-saving storage, and amber glass for UV protection of light-sensitive materials.

  • UV protection up to approx. 500 nm due to external amber colouration - compliant with USP 660 (Spectral Transmission) and USP 671
  • External-only amber colour application ensures internal surfaces retain standard DURAN™ borosilicate 3.3 glass properties
  • Very durable and chemically resistant amber colour permanently fired into the exterior glass surface
  • Easier and safer handling with specially shaped gripping zones on both sides of the bottle
  • Significantly faster opening or closing with a shortened bottle thread, fully compatible with GL 45 closures and accessories
  • Optimized ergonomic screw cap with comfortable grooves and ridges for efficient tightening or removal, even with gloved hands
  • Pre-defined labelling areas compatible with dedicated DURAN™ self-adhesive YOUTILITY™ bottle labels for unambiguous identification
  • Slimmer bottle shape allows more optimal use of limited space in autoclaves and laboratory refrigerators
  • Bottles can be stacked horizontally on their sides for convenient storage
  • Cap plug sealing with sealing lip system ensures a liquid-tight seal
  • Moulded from DURAN™ borosilicate 3.3, a pharmacopoeial Type 1 neutral glass with excellent chemical and temperature resistance
  • Available in sequentially sized volumes: 125, 250, 500 and 1000 mL
