Description

Short-term detector tube for the manual or automatic measurement of nitrogen dioxide gas concentrations.

Dräger Tubes are glass vials filled with a chemical reagent that reacts to a specific chemical for gas detection. These short-term detector tubes are used manually with the Dräger Accuro gas detection pump or automatically with the Accuro 2000 or Quantimeter 1000.

  • Gas Measured: Nitrogen dioxide
  • Standard Measurement Range: 5 to 100 ppm
  • Number of Strokes (n): 5
  • Measurement Time: Approximately 1 min
  • Standard Deviation: ±10 to 15%
  • Color Change: Yellow-green to blue-gray
  • Temperature Range: 10°C to 40°C
  • Humidity: Max. 30 mg H2O/L
  • Reaction Principle: NO2 + Diphenylbenzidine → blue-gray reaction product
  • Cross Sensitivity: Ozone or chlorine do not interfere within the range of their occupational exposure limits. Higher concentrations are indicated with different sensitivity. Nitrogen monoxide is not indicated.
