Description

These reliable, pre-calibrated detector tubes enable the rapid and precise measurement of Mercaptan gas concentrations in workplace environments and confined spaces.

The Dräger Mercaptan 20/a detector tube is designed for the rapid and precise measurement of mercaptan gas concentrations. The system uses glass tubes containing a chemical reagent that changes color in the presence of the target analyte, allowing for semi-quantitative concentration readings.

  • Cross-Sensitivity: Higher alkyl mercaptans (propyl- and butyl-mercaptan) are indicated with similar sensitivity. Measurement is not possible in the presence of hydrogen sulfide, as it is indicated with approximately double the sensitivity.
