The amine-reactive DNP-X succinimidyl ester can be used bioconjugates that can be detected with anti-dinitrophenyl (anti-DNP) antibodies. This reactive hapten contains an additional seven-atom aminohexanoyl spacer ('X') between the fluorophore and the succinimidyl ester group.
