Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

AA Sequence of recombinant protein: FPMFKRGRCL CIGPGVKAVK VADIEKASIM YPSNNCDKIE VIITLKENKG QRCLNPKSKQ ARLIIKKVER KNF. Preparation: Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human I-TAC (CXCL11). Anti-Human I-TAC (CXCL11)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated. Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human I-TAC (CXCL11) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human I-TAC (CXCL11) (500-P132) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human I-TAC (CXCL11). Western Blot: To detect hI-TAC by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant hI-TAC is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. 500-P132BT-1MG will be provided as 2 x 500 μg

Interferon-inducible T-cell alpha chemoattractant ( I-TAC), belonging to the CXC chemokine family, is expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes, pancreas and liver, thymus, spleen, lung, small intestine, placenta and prostate. Its molecular weight is 8-11 kD. I-TAC is also known as CXCL-11 and IP-9. The cytokine is involved in regulating calcium release and inducing a chemotactic response in activated T-cells and is the dominant ligand for CXC receptor-3. The gene encoding this protein contains 4 exons and at least three polyadenylation signals which might reflect cell-specific regulation of expression. IFN-gamma is a potent inducer of transcription of this gene. It is upregulated in patients with AIDS, dementia and in patients with multiple sclerosis.
