Description

All meters in the series have a low and high measurement range that covers a full 70dB on each range. With the A and C frequency scales and the S, F and I time response these meters can be used to assess hearing protectors using the NRR method.

The CEL-24X series includes two basic and two integrating digital sound meters:
Basic Digital Sound Models

• CEL-240 is the basic Type 2 sound level meter
• CEL-242 adds datalogging capability to the basic Type 2 sound level meter

Integrating Digital Sound Models

• Feature time average value Leq or Lavg and Q=3 or 5 exchange rate
• CEL-244 is the integrating Type 2 sound level meter
• CEL-246 adds datalogging capability to the integrating Type 2 sound level meter
