Rat Monoclonal Antibody

Description: This R6H1 monoclonal antibody reacts with CD196 (also known as CCR6), a seven transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor expressed on T, B, dendritic, natural killer, and Langerhans cells. This CC chemokine receptor uniquely binds MIP-3a/CCL20, a chemoattractant for dendritic cells, effector/memory T cells, and B cells. CD196 is also involved in host defense and inflammation at epithelial sites. Furthermore, this receptor has been implicated in Th17 differentiation and CD4+FoxP3+ regulatory T cell development. Applications Reported: This R6H1 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This R6H1 antibody has been pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This may be used at 5 μL (0.5 μg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. Super Bright 780 is a tandem dye that can be excited with the violet laser line (405 nm) and emits at 780 nm. We recommend using a 780/60 bandpass filter. Please make sure that your instrument is capable of detecting this fluorochrome. When using two or more Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies in a staining panel, it is recommended to use Super Bright Staining Buffer (Product No. SB-4400) to minimize any non-specific polymer interactions.

SIGLEC-F is a sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin predominantly expressed on eosinophils in mice, where it serves as a functional paralog of human SIGLEC-8. It acts as an inhibitory receptor with ITIM motifs that recognize sialylated glycans and can induce eosinophil apoptosis, thereby helping regulate allergic inflammation and immune homeostasis.
