Spectrum™ Chemical Calcium Chloride, Anhydrous, Desiccant, 4 Mesh is usually a solid white powder with an extremely salty taste. It is highly hygroscopic and must be kept in tightly sealed, air tight containers. Calcium chloride has many uses but its main use is as a desiccant. Ungraded products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or research purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use. These materials may or may not have a Certificate of Analysis available.
