The BDT Plus kit with HI-Res primers integrates advanced enzyme chemistry with optimized primer design to improve sequencing performance from template to readout. The high-processivity enzyme enhances incorporation efficiency of dye-labeled terminators, enabling stronger signal intensity and more consistent sequencing results across a wide range of sample types, including GC-rich regions and structurally complex templates.

The inclusion of HI-Res primers further improves sequencing quality by enhancing signal resolution, particularly at the 5' end of reads. This region has historically required modified workflows using alternative polymers such as POP-6™ to achieve improved resolution. In contrast, the combined BDT Plus chemistry and HI-Res primers enable high-quality 5' end data within standard workflows using POP-7™ polymer, simplifying operations and reducing the need for additional method development.
