Description

Purification is near homogeneity as judged by SDS-PAGE. The antibody was produced in vitro using hybridomas grown in serum-free medium, and then purified by biochemical fractionation. 459100 detects a band at approximately 36 kDa. Use human heart mitochondria as a positive control.

NDUFA9 (NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 alpha subcomplex subunit 9, mitochondrial) is also named as NDUFS2L, CI-39kD and belongs to the complex I NDUFA9 subunit family. It is involved in stabilizing the junction between membrane and matrix arms of complex I, a late assembly step critical for complex I biogenesis and activity.
