Description
The Gibco AAV-MAX Transfection Kit is an essential component of the AAV-MAX Helper-Free AAV Production System. It is formulated for the transient transfection of Viral Production Cells 2.0.
The kit includes a cationic lipid-based transfection reagent, as well as a transfection booster and production enhancer, which are designed to work together to produce adeno-associated virus (AAV) particles from Viral Production Cells 2.0 when cultured in Viral Production Medium.
Features of the AAV-MAX Transfection Kit include:
- Components work synergistically within the AAV-MAX system to produce high AAV titers greater than 5 x 1010 vg/mL (unpurified)
- AAV-MAX transfection reagent—cationic lipid-based transfection reagent for helper virus-free triple transfection of high-density cultures
- AAV-MAX booster—chemically defined component that works with the transfection reagent to achieve high transfection efficiency
- AAV-MAX enhancer—chemically defined component that enhances the production of AAV particles
- Robust transfection protocols are adaptable to large-scale transfection
