Titanium(IV) 2-ethylhexanoate acts as a coupling agent to improve the adhesion of the fiber and resin in Kevla-phenolic composites. It is used as a catalyst in the polymerization of cyclic poly(butylene terephthalate) oligomers for composite applications.
