Thermo Scientific™ SureSTART™ 10 mL Crimp Top Headspace Vial (Level 3) are the premier choice for high-sensitivity headspace GC and mass spectrometry (MS) workflows, delivering reproducible results and exceptional sample protection for demanding applications.

Made with high-purity clear glass, these vials minimize metal content, extractables, and leachables - critical for maintaining sample integrity and meeting US, EU, and JPN Pharmacopeia standards. These vials are made to withstand higher temperatures and internal pressures required for volatile gas analyses.

The standard 10 mL vials have a round base which is compatible with most autosamplers and can be handled by robotic arms that lift the vial from the tray.

A high recovery version is also available, which has an internal conical shape that provides a total usable volume of 9.5 mL and a residual volume of ~80 μL helping you maximize the injection volume for <10 mL samples for workflows requiring high sensitivity.

There is a 12.5 mL (total volume) vial with a 10 mL useable volume format available

Each vial is Specification Certified to ensure their physical dimensions and autosampler compatibility.

Combine with Thermo Scientific™ SureSTART™ 20 mm crimp caps and septa to ensure optimal performance.

• Level 2: High-throughput analysis
When robustness and reproducibility are key
SureSTART Level 2 vials have very low metal contents and leachables to ensure that they conform to the high standards you need to meet your regulatory requirements. The septa are conditioned to provide a very low level of chromatographic extractables. These products support routine analyses and deliver high quality data with an uninterrupted workflow.

• Level 3: High performance
When sensitivity is a must
SureSTART Level 3 products are packed in a clean environment according to our own hygiene concept and regulations to protect against contaminating factors. The vials contain the lowest levels of extractable metals and leachables to ensure consistent, reproducible sensitivity and selectivity for the most challenging analytes. The septa are conditioned to provide the lowest level of chromatographic extractables. Choose these products for ultimate method performance and high levels of and sample security and integrity.
