PureClean™ autoclavable tubing is made from 1421B DuPont™ Tyvek™, which is a new grade of uncoated, untreated, flexible Tyvek™ material. It has been specifically designed for pharmaceutical use in steam sterilization applications. Keystone's PureClean™ Tyvek™ material does not have a water soluble antistat agent applied to it during its manufacturing process.

This steam sterilization tubing is a great choice when there is a wide range of equipment parts that need to be wrapped for sterilization. Simply unroll the tubing to the desired length, slide the equipment into the tube and then heat seal each end closed. The drapeable nature of the 1421B Tyvek™ material is ideal for wrapping equipment parts where one may need to 'feel through' the bag; especially when lifting or handling the wrapped part. Since 100% of the surface area allows for steam penetration and drying, each load can be configured for maximum efficiency and throughput.
