Silver carbonate is used in production of silver powder. It is used in microelectronics. Silver carbonate is used as a reagent in organic synthesis. It is employed in Fetizon oxidation, silver carbonate on celite acts as an oxidizing agent to form lactones from diols. It is also used in used in Koenigs-Knorr glycosylation.
