Description

Evaporate strong acids, bases and aggressive organic solvents with the Thermo Scientific SpeedVac Modular Vacuum Concentrators. Approved for combinatorial chemistry, these concentrators incorporate an intuitive programmable user display for enhanced usability.

  • Proven reliability: Over 50 years of experience stand behind the Savant SpeedVac family of products.
  • Consistency of drying time: 4 IR heat lamps and PTFE-coated chamber and tubing for drying low–and high-boiling point solvents and strong acids and bases such as DMSO, methylene chloride, TFA, and other acids. Heated glass lid reduces drying times and prevents condensation. Built-in digital vacuum gauge allows continuous monitoring of process to avoid bumping or uncontrolled boiling of solvents.
  • Convenience and flexibility: The heavy-duty universal rotor is optimized for efficient large-sample processing while accommodating various sample handling formats, such as microcentrifuge tubes, microplates, and 250 mL flasks.
  • User friendly: User interface allows use of 4 preset programs and 8 user defined programs to set heat, run time, ramp rate and vacuum level for efficient operation.
  • Safety assurance: Standard glass lid locks securely to help ensure safety for samples and users. Hands free operation when loading or unloading the rotor with the lid stay mechanism. An audible alarm alerts the user when the operation is finished.
  • Sample integrity: Ability to download live run data from a USB port enhances data integrity.
