Description
Microscopic stainRuthenium(III) chloride oxide, ammoniated is used as a reagent on plant material for staining pectin, gum, animal tissues and bacteria. It is also used in histology to stain aldehyde fixed mucopolysaccharides. Further, it serves as a pharmacological tool to study specific cellular mechanisms. It serves as an inhibitor of mitochondrial calcium uniporter. In addition, it is involved in reducing airway inflammation arises by pepper spray.
