Description

RT hoods are available in two different Tychem materials and are held in place by the inflatable neck cuff (RT1 and RT2 models) or a sport material neck cuff (RT3 and RT4 models).

  • Tychem™ QC (quality coated) is a lightweight, supple material coated with polyethylene to provide splash protection against many acids, bases, and other liquid chemicals
  • Tychem SL (Saranex™ laminate) is coated with Saranex 23-P to provide protection from an even wider range of chemicals
  • RT1/RT3 = Tychem QC
  • RT2/RT4 = Tychem SL
  • Panoramic view minimizes claustrophobic feeling sometimes experienced in other respirator hoods
  • Sport or inflatable neck cuff design provides positive custom seal
  • Three-channel air delivery system promotes curvature of hood for better fit
  • Long inner and outer bibs for splash protection
  • Extra-large acetate lens
  • No suspension is required
  • Breathing tube connects using a sleeve on the back of the hood and a clamp
