Description

KIMBLE™ KIMAX™ Iodine Determination Flasks with PTFE Stopper are designed for the analysis of dry shellac, shellac varnishes, oils, and fatty acids. Each flask includes a PTFE standard taper stopper and a durable ceramic enamel marking spot.

For analysis of dry shellac, varnishes, oils, fatty acids

  • Used for the analysis of dry shellac and shellac varnishes with Wijs iodine monochloride solution, and to determine the total iodine value of oils, fatty acids, and bodied oils with Rosenmund-Kuhnhenn reagent
  • PTFE standard taper stopper is included
  • Durable matte-finish ceramic enamel marking spot takes writing and erases easily
  • Designed to ASTM Specification E1404, Type II, Class 3 requirements
