KIMBLE™ KONTES™ Filtration Assemblies: Flasks With Side Arm, No. 2 Hose Connection are borosilicate glass filtration flasks with a #2 hose connection for 0.25 in. (6mm) ID tubing, conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements.

  • 125mL flask features a No. 5 stopper joint; 1000mL, 2000mL, and 4000mL flasks feature a No. 8 stopper joint
  • Manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements
  • Suitable for analysis of particulate or microbiological contamination
  • A second flask should be connected between the filtering flask and the vacuum source to prevent accidental entry of filtrate into the vacuum line or pump
