Invitrogen™ Human RG9MTD3 (aa 226-315) Control Fragment Recombinant Protein
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (86%), Rat (86%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-54512 (PA5-54512. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
S-adenosyl-L-methionine-dependent guanine N(1)-methyltransferase that catalyzes the formation of N(1)-methylguanine at position 9 (m1G9) in tRNAs (PubMed:23042678). Probably not able to catalyze formation of N(1)-methyladenine at position 9 (m1A9) in tRNAs (PubMed:23042678). [UniProt]
