Stir bars have polygon multifaceted surfaces that add turbulence relative to similar smooth size cylindrical bars.

  • Alnico magnet encapsulated in FDA Grade, USP Class VI Teflon™ PTFE low friction coating; durable and inert
  • Manufactured in a registered ISO 9001:2008 facility, as verified by SGS certification
  • Autoclave safe
  • Small removable pivot ring in the center adds to their versatility
  • Pivot ring minimizes contact area of bar to vessel
  • Ring also reduces friction and the marring of plastic containers
  • No pivot ring is included on the two smallest sizes, Cat. Nos. 14-512-140 and -141
