Description

Salimeter Hydrometers for Measuring Brine Salt Concentration provide quick, easy readings of % salt or % saturation at 60°F for monitoring pickling and meat-packing brines and other NaCl solutions.

Monitor sodium chloride concentration in brines with durable glass salimeters standardized at 60°F (15.6°C).

  • Reads % saturation and/or % salt depending on model - ideal for pickling and meat-packing brines
  • Available in multiple sodium chloride ranges (up to 26.4% by weight) and graduations to match your process
  • Individually serialized; certificates (NIST/ASTM) available on select models
  • Soda-lime glass construction with clear, permanently marked scale
  • Approximate length: 305 mm; requires approx. 250 mL sample in Fisherbrand™ 08-530J cylinder (sold separately)
