Description

Designed for high-throughput transformation with efficiencies up to 103 transformants per μg plasmid DNA. Perfect for a quick analysis of potentially positive two-hybrid colonies, the EZ-Yeast™ Transformation Kit does not require fully competent cells prior to transformation.

  • The kit does not require fully competent cells prior to transformation
  • Simply remove a 3–4mm colony or 0.5ml overnight culture to a new tube, add vector and carrier DNA, incubate for 30 minutes, and plate on selective media.
  • It is ideal for cases where a large number of transformations must be performed, but only a few transformants are needed
