Description

Designed for separation of magnetic particles from solutions in a 96-well plate.

  • Composed of an acrylic block (12.8 x 8.6cm) containing 24 (4 x 6) neodymium magnetic rods each having a diameter of approximately 7mm and a Gauss rating of 1200 (1.21 to 1.22 Teslas)
  • When a standard 96-well or PCR plate is fitted over the magnetic rack, each magnetic rod sits between four adjacent wells and rapidly pulls magnetic particles to the side or bottom of the wells
  • Holes in the rack are slightly angled to maximize exposure to the magnets and to ease removal of the liquid from the tube

Store at room temperature. To clean, wash the Magna GrIP™ HT96 rack in soap and water, and air dry. Avoid exposure to organic solvents including benzene, toluene, xylene, chloroform, and acetone.
