| Following reconstitution in 0.5% NaHCO3, refrigerate (4°C). Do not freeze or shake, as SH groups may be oxidized and form linkages between protein molecules, resulting in precipitation, turbidity, and loss of activity. NaHCO3 stock solutions are stable for 2-3 days at 4°C. Following reconstitution in 0.1 M imidazole buffer, aliquot and freeze (−20°C). Imidazole stock solutions are stable for up to 4 weeks at −20°C. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles, as 20-30% of activity will be lost with each freeze/thaw cycle. | |
