Spectrum™ Chemical Cetyl Esters Wax, Synthetic, NF is also known as cetyl palmitate and is the ester from cetyl alcohol and palmitic acid. It increases the viscosity (thickness) of creams and lotions while also improving the feel. The NF grade indicates it is graded suitable for personal care, cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications.
