For example, the Red Laser Upgrade Kit expands the 637-nm excitation capabilities, facilitating the detection of APC, Alexa Fluor 700, APC-tandem dyes, and functional reagents such as CellTrace Far Red dye, LIVE/DEAD Fixable far red or near IR dyes, Vybrant DyeCycle Ruby dye, and far red–exciting fluorescent proteins. Similar enhancements are available with the yellow, violet, and green laser upgrade kits, each broadening the scope of detectable fluorophores and applications.
