Ammonium tetrafluoroborate is used in the metal industry as a high-temperature flux. It is also used as a flame retardant and lubricant in aluminum cutting-oils. Further, it acts as an analytical reagent. In addition, it is used as a catalyst for resin finishing and also finds use in textile printing and dyeing industry.
