Description
ApplicationsProtein purification reagent Triethanolamine hydrochloride serves as a protein purification reagent, an emulsifier and a surfactant. It is used in the study of chemical cross linking of chloroplast coupling factor and acts as a medium for assaying adenosine diphosphate (ADP). It acts as an organic additive in the grinding of cement clinker and as a complexing agent for aluminum ions in aqueous solutions. It is used for the neutralization of fatty acids and adjusting buffer pH as well as utilized to dissolve oils.
Solubility
Soluble in water.
Notes
Hygroscopic. Incompatible with acids, acid chlorides, acid anhydrides and oxidizing agents.
