Description

Use as a stand-alone unit for time, volume or drop fractioning; or in conjunction with an external detector (with a 1V output) as a user-friendly, programmable peak separator.

Three Collection Modes

  • Time-based fractions for 0.1 to 999.9 minutes in 1-second intervals—for any fraction size between 6 seconds and 1000 minutes
  • Drop- or pumped-based volume fractions can be collected from 1 to 9999 drops (or volumes) in 1 drop (or volume) increments
  • Pumped volume mode available only when Model CF-1 is interfaced with Spectra/Chrom Model MP-1 or MP-2 (sold separately; contact your Fisher Scientific Customer Service Representative for information)
Integral Peak Detection Capabilities
When connected to detector with 1V output, collector identifies and separates peaks from eluate stream
High-capacity Sampling
  • Interchangeable racks hold up to 174 tubes ranging in size from 10 to 28mm—including scintillation vials
  • Also features encoded tube positions
Operates in Cold or Hot Temperature Environments
  • Heavy-gauge aluminum and plastic construction houses built-in heater circuits that eliminate internal condensation down to 0°C (32°F)—even in coldrooms with 100% humidity
  • High-temperature rated electronic and mechanical parts enable continuous operation in environments with temperatures up to 40°C (104°F)
