Storage Requirements -20°C

  • All vectors are compatible with Promega Flexi Vector System, directional cloning method for protein-coding sequences
  • Vectors designated “pFC” are configured to append HaloTag 7 to carboxy-terminus of protein fusion partner
  • Vectors designated “pFN” are configured to append HaloTag 7 to amino-terminus of protein fusion partner

Vectors for Mammalian Protein Expression

  • Vectors contain either full-length (pFC14, pFN21) or modified (pFC15, pFC16, pFC17, pFN22, pFN23, pFN24) human cytomegalovirus (CMV) promoter
  • The modified CMV promoter, which contains various deletions, provides varying levels of protein expression levels, depending on protein of interest and cell type
Vectors for E. coli and Cell-Free Protein Expression
  • pFN18 vectors provide T7 RNA polymerase-driven protein expression in E. coli or in cell-free translation systems
  • pFN19 vectors provide T7 RNA polymerase-driven protein expression in E. coli ( ∽two- to four-fold lower protein expression compared to pFN18 vectors) or T7 or SP6 RNA polymerase-driven protein expression in cell-free translation systems
  • pFC20 vectors provide T7 RNA polymerase-driven protein expression in E. coli or T7 or SP6 RNA polymerase-driven protein expression in cell-free translation systems

Commercial Use means any and all uses of this product and derivatives by a party for monetary or other consideration and may include but is not limited to use in: (1) product manufacture; and (2) to provide a service, information or data; and/or resale of the product or its derivatives, whether or not such product or derivatives are resold for use in research. With respect to such Commercial Use, or any diagnostic, therapeutic or prophylactic uses, please contact Promega for supply and licensing information.
