We offer Coelenterazine (native) and Coelenterazine-h. Coelenterazine (native) is the luminescent substrate for Renilla luciferase and apoaequorin.
Manufacturer: Promega™ S2011
Luciferases from Renilla, Aequorea and other marine organisms are commonly used as indicators or reporters for studying cellular phenomena in expression assays in eukaryotic cells. Renilla luciferase is often used as a reporter of transcription regulation, whereas apoaequorin is often used as a calcium indicator. Other uses of coelenterazines include chemiluminescent detection of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) in cells or tissues.
