Invitrogen™ PIK3CD/PIK3R1 (p110 delta/p85 alpha) Recombinant Human Protein, His tag
Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) is composed of a catalytic subunit (p110δ) and a regulatory subunit (p85α in this case), which are encoded by the PIK3CD and PIK3R1 genes. PI3K phosphorylates phosphoinositides on the 3-hydroxyl group of the inositol ring.
Supplier: Invitrogen™ PV6452
Description
Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) plays a role in oncogenic transformation and is consistently expressed at a high level in AML blast cells. PI3K can play a selective role in the amplification of phosphatidylinositol (3,4,5) trisphosphate (PIP3) levels that leads to neutrophil polarization, and regulates directional migration, but not random locomotion. The PI3K signaling pathway is involved in immune responses relevant to the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory diseases.
