Thermo Scientific™ Pierce UV Lamps are compact, multifunctional ultraviolet lamps with 252nm, 302nm and 365nm dial-selectable wavelength settings especially for use with photoactivatable crosslinkers and UV-crosslinking methods.

The 3UV lamp from UVP is a compact ultraviolet lamp for longwave, midrange and shortwave UV applications. The lamp's innovative design allows you to dial-in the required wavelength with just the turn of a knob. The lamp is compatible with our extensive line of photo-reactive crosslinking and label-transfer reagents, including the photo-reactive amino acids for discovering in-cell protein interactions.

Highlights:

  • Multifunctional – three lamps (254nm, 302nm, 365nm) selected by a turn of the dial

  • Efficient – unique reflector design provides maximum UV light for all applications

  • Lightweight and ergonomic – designed for hand-held or stationary use

  • Small footprint – 15.5 in. x 3 in. x 4.5 in. (394mm x 76mm x 114mm)

  • Durable – lamp features aluminum construction and scratch- resistant finish

  • Versatile – 8-watt lamps are ideal for a wide area of illumination, such as culture plates

  • Validated for crosslinking – our researchers have validated this lamp for use in crosslinking applications with diazirine and phenyl azide photoactivatable crosslinkers
