Thermo Scientific™ Pierce AKT In-Cell ELISA Kits are colorimetric and fluorescent microplate assays optimized to measure total and phosphorylated Akt family of serine/threonine-specific protein kinases (phospho-AKT) in whole cells.

Pierce AKT In-Cell ELISA Kits enable the relative quantitation of total and phosphorylated Akt family of serine/threonine-specific protein kinases (AKT1, AKT2 and AKT3) in whole cells using a 96- or 384-well microplate format. The complete kits include a mouse monoclonal anti-AKT antibody, rabbit monoclonal anti-phospho-(Ser473) AKT antibody, detection reagents and all buffers required for either colorimetric or near infrared detection.

The Colorimetric In-cell ELISA Kit facilitates comparison of multiple target protein levels from different wells using target-specific antibodies, HRP-conjugated detection reagents and TMB substrate. Results across wells are then normalized to cell number based on whole-cell staining with Janus Green.

The Near Infrared In-Cell ELISA Kit allows simultaneous detection of two different target proteins within the same well, eliminating variability caused by differences in cell plating. With the near IR system, protein levels are determined by using target-specific primary antibodies and DyLight™ Fluor-Conjugated Secondary Antibodies. The near IR detection method eliminates issues with background fluorescence, providing a high signal-to-noise ratio and making these fluorescent multiplex experiments both sensitive and robust.
