Life Science CD Titles

Human Anatomy Laboratory. Developed with the help of Stanford Medical School, this two CD set includes 400 different human dissections with actual arteries, veins, muscles, nerves, bones, and organs for models. With an electronic index, these CDs make an excellent human anatomy resource as well as an exciting teaching tool.
Skeleton in Depth. For the complete and comprehensive treatment of the human skeleton, this CD contains thousands of individually labeled structures.
Heart in Depth. This classic university approach to the human heart includes 30 dissections to achieve the same understanding as could be achieved in the lab.
Cat Dissection Laboratory. Endorsed by the Humane Society, this CD explores every major system in the cat. Eighty microsurgically prepared dissections show details that may be missed in typical laboratory dissections.
Frog Dissection Laboratory. Reflecting the detail found in the cat dissection laboratory, this CD follows the curriculum found in most texts and lab manuals. Earthworm dissections are included as bonus reference material.
The Cell Is a City. Take laboratory dissections to a new level of detail as students get to explore the structure of cells. From the authors of Stereo Atlas of the Cell, this CD includes images from electron micrographs.

Astronomy CD Titles

Mission to Mars. See the red planet just as NASA's scientists did during the 1997 Mars Pathfinder Mission. Authored by the mission's camera designer and spectroscopist, Dr. Peter Smith, this CD includes actual 3-D footage shot by the lander and rover. The Imager for Mars Pathfinder (IMP) photographed Mars using stereoscopic technology. Scientists viewed IMP's footage using technology similar to that used in the Neotek system.
NASA's Tour of the Solar System. Since before the Apollo missions, NASA has used 3-D cameras to photograph our solar system and our planet. Students can explore these never-before-seen images from NASA's Lunar and Planetary Institute and see space missions in the format they were meant to be seen.
